Instead of spending thousands of dollars flying to Munich, Germany, you can experience Oktoberfest right here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, on Saturday, September 27! That’s right. Wintergreen Performing Arts brings you a celebration of German culture and food, with Oktoberfest at Wintergreen Resort.
This family event features traditional “oom-pah” band music and beers from local microbreweries. Feast on brats, wursts, German potato salad and kraut, along with American hotdogs and hamburgers for those not inclined toward a taste of Germany.
This event will be held at Wintergreen Resort Evans Center from noon until 5:30, on Saturday, September 27. All proceeds benefit Wintergreen Performing Arts. Admission is $20 for adults, which includes eight tasting coupons. Non-drinkers are $5, including two root beers.
