Antique Fire Engine Museum

The Antique Fire Engine Museum in Staunton, Virginia is located at the Fire and Rescue Department and features 'Jumbo', the oldest motorized chemical fire engine in Virginia. It is believed to be one of only two surviving 1911 Robinson Fire Engines in existence. The other one is located in Arizona. Also at the museum are artifacts from the beginnings of organized fire service including some items from the pre-Civil War era. Cabin Creekwood features a historic, rustic cabin rental, Cabin Logwood, which dates back to the pre-Civil War time period.

The Staunton Fire Department is a historic volunteer fire department company, having first organized in 1790. It is the oldest volunteer company in Virginia. The fully restored engine can be viewed by visiting the department which is open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
