Fall Foliage in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Ah, autumn.  One of my favorite times of the year.  It is so great to wake up to the cool mornings with no humidity, and begin to watch the leaves changing color!

People come from all over the world to stay in our Virginia cabin rentals and experience the colors of fall, and for good reason!  The Blue Ridge Mountains are beautiful anytime, but the colors of the fall foliage make them absolutely spectacular.

Our autumn colors begin in mid-September, as a few of the trees begin to display their brilliant yellows.  It continues right through October with more and more trees joining the show.  Early November, the brilliance begins to fade as red becomes the predominant fall foliage color, and many leaves are fading to brown.  Then it’s all over–until next year.

You can experience the colors of fall in style by staying in one of our Virginia mountain cabins.  But don’t wait too long!  Our fall foliage season always fills up fast!
